Alcove shower screen Hietakari Bläk 752 Paris, hinged door + hinged door is a shower screen installed between two opposite walls in an alcove, separating the shower area from the rest of the bathroom. It belongs to the industrial-style Bläk series by the Finnish manufacturer Hietakari. The set consists of the following parts: Hinged door A, Hinged door B. The frame colours are white, black, Sand, Mocha and Cocoa, and you can choose clear, grey, reeded, bronze or satin glass. The Paris model has a denser decorative grid frame on the glass, giving the shower the look of a classic industrial window. You choose the width of each panel on the product page – all standard sizes are the same price.
The hinged door has a pair of magnet seals that keep it tightly closed while showering.

Installation
The wall profile is screwed to the building wall. The fixed panel is installed on an adjustable tuning leg at the bottom and attached to the wall profile with self-drilling screws; at the top it is supported by a brace. Instead of the tuning leg you can choose floor rail mounting, and instead of the brace a long side support that can also be used to dry towels. A seal can be fitted under the panel to improve water tightness.
Frame and fittings
The profiles are powder-coated aluminium in white (RAL 9016), black (RAL 9005), Sand (RAL 1019), Mocha (RAL 8025) and Cocoa (RAL 8019). The fittings are made of painted brass alloy.
Glass
The panels are made of 6 mm tempered safety glass (EN 12150). Clear, grey and bronze glass are smooth and transparent. Reeded and satin glass are translucent – details cannot be seen through them. Reeded is ribbed on one side, satin glass is etched on one side to a velvety finish that is more sensitive to scratches and stains. Cranith anti-limescale coating can be added at the factory.
Sizes and adjustment
The height is 1950 mm. The wall profiles have 7 mm of adjustment for levelling tilted walls, and the width can be increased by 40 mm with an extension profile. For a custom size, ask us for a quote.
Water tightness
If the floor slope in the shower area is steeper than usual, choose the 50 mm high floor seal. A step profile can be installed under the door to improve water tightness further.
