Description

Oak rough appearance Herringbone flooring sorting Knotty: Vivid rustic character with texture and colour variations, natural knots, distinctive filled core splits and knots possible.

Due to its favorable thermal resistance of approx. 0.14 m²K/W, T&W herringbone flooring is suitable for installation with warm water underfloor heating if this is done properly and special installation instructions are taken into account.

The T&W parquet floors are approved for a maximum surface temperature of 29 °C. Due to physiological considerations, however, it is expressly recommended that a surface temperature of 25 °C is not exceeded.

This herringbone flooring is 15 mm thick and features a 4 mm thick oak veneer layer, which allows the parquet to be sanded up to four times. The edges of the parquet are beveled on all four sides, highlighting the large format of the parquet boards. The surface of the parquet is brushed, which emphasizes the beautiful, natural grain pattern of the wood. This herringbone parquet is finished with natural oil, enhancing the wood’s playful and natural tones. The rustic grading, with knots and natural color variations, highlights the natural beauty of oak wood.

This herringbone parquet must be fully glued to the subfloor, ensuring pleasantly quiet footstep noise. With full gluing, there is no need to install expansion joints between rooms, which guarantees a seamless transition. Full gluing also ensures lower thermal resistance, enabling faster heat transfer – providing room warmth precisely when it is actually needed.
