Walk-in shower screen Hietakari Bläk 712 New York is a walk-in shower screen mounted on a floor profile, leaving the shower area open. It belongs to the industrial-style Bläk series by the Finnish manufacturer Hietakari. The frame colours are white and black, and you can choose clear, grey, reeded, bronze or satin glass. New York is the cleanest model in the Bläk series – the glass has no grid and the industrial look comes from the slim metal frame. You choose the width of each panel on the product page – all standard sizes are the same price.

Installation
The walk-in shower screen is mounted on a floor profile and its top edge is supported to the building wall with support bars.
Frame and fittings
The profiles are powder-coated aluminium in white (RAL 9016) and black (RAL 9005). The fittings are made of painted brass alloy.
Glass
The panels are made of 6 mm tempered safety glass (EN 12150). Clear, grey and bronze glass are smooth and transparent. Reeded and satin glass are translucent – details cannot be seen through them. Reeded is ribbed on one side, satin glass is etched on one side to a velvety finish that is more sensitive to scratches and stains. Cranith anti-limescale coating can be added at the factory.
Sizes and adjustment
The walk-in shower screen measures 1000 x 1800 mm.
