Herringbone Flooring Bauwerk Unopark Canadian Maple 15 matt lacquered is a herringbone parquet by the Swiss manufacturer Bauwerk from the Unopark collection in the colour Canadian Maple.
Bauwerk Unopark – herringbone parquet
Unopark is Bauwerk’s two-layer strip parquet measuring 470 x 70 x 11 mm, with a thick 4 mm oak top layer on a spruce base. The classic small strip suits herringbone, ladder, English and shipdeck patterns.
Colour and grade
Canadian maple is a light, hard wood with an even, fine grain that makes rooms bright and calm. Grade 15* is moderately lively: smaller knots and natural colour variation add life to the surface while the overall look stays calm. The asterisk (*) means the boards are free of sapwood.
Surface finish
The surface is sealed with several thin coats of matt lacquer that form a durable protective film. Matt lacquer resists wear and moisture well, does not collect dirt and needs little care – a good choice for busy rooms. The sanded surface is smooth and even, giving a calm and classic look.

The parquet is suitable for hot-water underfloor heating – follow the requirements of Bauwerk’s installation instructions (surface temperature up to 29 °C).
