Herringbone Flooring Bauwerk Unopark Smoked Oak 14 oiled sanded is a herringbone parquet by the Swiss manufacturer Bauwerk from the Unopark collection in the colour Smoked Oak.
Bauwerk Unopark – herringbone parquet
Unopark is Bauwerk’s two-layer strip parquet measuring 470 x 70 x 11 mm, with a thick 4 mm oak top layer on a spruce base. The classic small strip suits herringbone, ladder, English and shipdeck patterns.
Colour and grade
Smoked oak is dark, smoky and earthy – the colour comes from a natural reaction in the wood rather than a stain, and goes deep into the wood. Grade 14* is calm and uniform: only a few small knots and slight colour variation. The asterisk (*) means the boards are free of sapwood.
Surface finish
The surface is natural oiled at the factory. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, brings out the grain and leaves the floor with a warm, matt and natural feel. Minor wear can be repaired locally and the surface refreshed with Bauwerk care oil. The sanded surface is smooth and even, giving a calm and classic look.

The parquet is suitable for hot-water underfloor heating – follow the requirements of Bauwerk’s installation instructions (surface temperature up to 29 °C).
