Parquet Flooring Bauwerk Monopark Oak Sasso 15 B-Protect sanded is a strip parquet by the Swiss manufacturer Bauwerk from the Monopark collection in the colour Oak Sasso.
Bauwerk Monopark – strip parquet
Monopark is Bauwerk’s most popular two-layer strip parquet measuring 470 x 70 x 9.6 mm with a 3 mm oak top layer. The small classic strip is one of the most widely laid herringbone parquets in Europe; its low build height also makes it ideal for renovations.
Colour and grade
Sasso is a cool, muted grey tone with lively grain. Grade 15 is moderately lively: smaller knots and natural colour variation add life to the surface while the overall look stays calm.
Surface finish
B-Protect® is Bauwerk’s own factory finish: a fine multi-layer seal that closes the surface completely while keeping the look of almost untreated wood. It is very matt, resistant to water and chemicals and particularly UV-stable, so the colour stays unchanged for a long time. It offers the protection of a lacquer with easy care. The sanded surface is smooth and even, giving a calm and classic look.

Two-layer parquet is fully glued to the subfloor with a suitable parquet adhesive (Bauwerk recommends e.g. MS40). Full-surface bonding gives quiet footfall, a stable floor and good heat transfer. The parquet is suitable for hot-water underfloor heating – follow the requirements of Bauwerk’s installation instructions (surface temperature up to 29 °C).
Skirtings and stair solutions in the same tone
Matching skirting boards and stair nosings as well as stair treads and risers for this collection can be ordered from Bauwerk in the same tone and finish, so that the floor, skirtings and stairs form a harmonious whole.
