Bauwerk Prepark Comfort – solid strip parquet
Prepark is Bauwerk’s solid oak strip measuring 480 x 117 mm, factory sanded and lacquered. The strips can be laid in a mosaic or parallel pattern, and the solid wood allows the floor to be sanded and renewed many times.
Colour and grade
The Nature tone is the natural, slightly honey-warm colour of oak with clearly visible grain. Grade 15 is moderately lively: smaller knots and natural colour variation add life to the surface while the overall look stays calm.
Surface finish
The surface is factory lacquered and ready to use – the lacquer protects the wood from wear and moisture and makes everyday care easy. The sanded surface is smooth and even, giving a calm and classic look.

Installation and underfloor heating
Solid parquet is fully glued to a level, dry subfloor. Solid wood can be sanded and refinished many times over the life of the floor. The Comfort version has a cork backing that makes the floor softer underfoot and reduces impact sound. The parquet is suitable for hot-water underfloor heating – follow the requirements of Bauwerk’s installation instructions (surface temperature up to 29 °C).
