Wooden Flooring Bauwerk Formpark 520 Oak Nature 14 oiled deep brushed is a design parquet by the Swiss manufacturer Bauwerk from the Formpark 520 collection in the colour Oak Nature.
Bauwerk Formpark 520 – design parquet
Formpark is Bauwerk’s award-winning design parquet (German Design Award “Best of Best”): large 260 mm wide elements in lengths of 780 or 520 mm, a 4 mm oak top layer and bevels on four sides. The elements can be laid in parallel or at right angles – shipdeck, herringbone, ladder or field pattern – and boards laid in different directions reflect light differently for a playful effect.
Colour and grade
The Nature tone is the natural, slightly honey-warm colour of oak with clearly visible grain. Grade 14* is calm and uniform: only a few small knots and slight colour variation. The asterisk (*) means the boards are free of sapwood.
Surface finish
The surface is natural oiled at the factory. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, brings out the grain and leaves the floor with a warm, matt and natural feel. Minor wear can be repaired locally and the surface refreshed with Bauwerk care oil. The deep-brushed surface has a strong texture – you can feel the grain under your hand.

Installation and underfloor heating
Two-layer parquet is fully glued to the subfloor with a suitable parquet adhesive (Bauwerk recommends e.g. MS40). Full-surface bonding gives quiet footfall, a stable floor and good heat transfer. The parquet is suitable for hot-water underfloor heating – follow the requirements of Bauwerk’s installation instructions (surface temperature up to 29 °C).
