Quick-Step is a brand of the Belgian company Unilin, known for high-quality laminate, vinyl and wood floors. Quick-Step engineered wood combines the warmth of real oak with smart technology – easy Uniclic click installation, durable finishes and a lifetime residential warranty.
Quick-Step Amato – compact waterproof parquet
Amato is the most compact format of Quick-Step’s waterproof wood floors: the 145 mm wide and 1.82 m long plank also works well in smaller rooms such as bathrooms, entrance halls and corridors.
Construction
Quick-Step waterproof engineered wood has four layers:
- UV-cured scratch-resistant lacquer in 5–7 layers
- oak top layer ±2.5 mm, PEFC-certified wood
- HDF Mastercore – a dense, moisture-resistant core
- 2 mm wood veneer backing
Waterproof – also suitable for bathrooms
Hydroseal water-repellent protection on all four edges means water can stay on the floor surface for up to 72 hours. The floor can be cleaned with a damp cloth and is also suitable for kitchens, hallways and bathrooms. Not suitable for showers, saunas or rooms with floor drains.
Grading and appearance
The Vibrant grading is full of character – very lively colour variation, big knots and cracks create an authentic, natural floor.
Finish
The extra matt UV lacquer gives the impression of untreated natural wood while strongly protecting the surface against wear, scratches and stains. Maintenance is easy – a vacuum cleaner and a damp cloth are all you need.

- suitable for underfloor heating and cooling (floor surface temperature up to 27 °C)
