Herringbone Flooring Bauwerk Spinpark Oak Avorio 15 oiled sanded is a French herringbone (chevron) parquet by the Swiss manufacturer Bauwerk from the Spinpark collection in the colour Oak Avorio.
Bauwerk Spinpark – French herringbone (chevron) parquet
Spinpark is a design parquet created by Bauwerk and atelier oï (Red Dot 2024): the top layer consists of lamellas cut at 45°, so the grain runs diagonally across the board. A-side and B-side boards (−45° and +45°) create a striking chevron effect whether laid in parallel or in herringbone. Dimensions 827 x 130 x 9.5 mm.
Colour and grade
Avorio is a soft, warm and light ivory-beige tone. Grade 15 is moderately lively: smaller knots and natural colour variation add life to the surface while the overall look stays calm.
Surface finish
The surface is natural oiled at the factory. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, brings out the grain and leaves the floor with a warm, matt and natural feel. Minor wear can be repaired locally and the surface refreshed with Bauwerk care oil. The sanded surface is smooth and even, giving a calm and classic look.

Installation and underfloor heating
Two-layer parquet is fully glued to the subfloor with a suitable parquet adhesive (Bauwerk recommends e.g. MS40). Full-surface bonding gives quiet footfall, a stable floor and good heat transfer. The parquet is suitable for hot-water underfloor heating – follow the requirements of Bauwerk’s installation instructions (surface temperature up to 29 °C).
