Oak Herringbone Flooring Esta Nova Eco Elite Lava Grey UV oiled is a herringbone parquet floor by the Estonian manufacturer Esta Parket – oak, tone Lava Grey, grade Elite. The floor has a dark, deep tone.
Esta Parket – herringbone parquet flooring
Esta Nova Eco belongs to Esta’s new-generation Nova floors: a 13 mm, 100% wood multi-layer construction with a European oak top layer. Nova floors have fixed dimensions and are fully recyclable; scratches can be refreshed with a Bona care product without sanding. Each pack contains both right-hand and left-hand blocks (R+L) with tongue-and-groove joints for laying the pattern.
Tone and grade
Elite is Esta Parket’s calmest grade: colour variation is small, there is hardly any sapwood and knots are small (sound knots under 10 mm). The floor looks clean and even.
Surface finish
The surface is finished with UV-cured oil (gloss level 4–6%). UV oil emphasises the natural texture of the wood and gives a warm, matt look; the floor is maintained with care products for oiled parquet. The brushed surface lets you feel the natural structure of the wood. Bevelled on all four sides, the blocks accentuate the pattern and the shape of each piece.
Installation and underfloor heating
The floor is installed by gluing it to the subfloor, which ensures quiet footfall and good heat transfer. Esta parquet is suitable for rooms with underfloor heating: the recommended relative humidity is 40–60% and the floor surface temperature up to 27 °C.
